Hoboken parking sucks.

It sucks a lot less when you know where the sweeper just was.

(you nodded just now. we saw it.)

The sweeper is the cheat code

When the sweeper passes, an entire block-side opens at once, the emptiest that curb will be all week. It stays that way for about twenty minutes. Whoever knows the minute, wins. So Mike built the thing that knows: every block-side in Hoboken, scored live from the city's own street cleaning schedule.

The fine print

Two signs run this town

First, the thing no other app checks. Hoboken hangs one of these two on nearly every block, one side each:

There is no third sign. The third sign is a tow truck.

CurbClub knows which side wears which sign, so it never coaches a visitor into a ticket. And once the sides make sense, the nightly lap stops being luck:

๐ŸŸข Go now

Just swept, or the truck finishes within 45 minutes. The emptiest that curb gets all week.

๐ŸŸ  Opens soon

Sweep starts within two hours, so residents are pulling off that side right now. Circle and take a vacated spot.

โšซ Long shot

Nothing happening on that curb. Keep driving.

Resident-only, skipped

Green-sign curbs never get recommended to visitors. The app won't coach you into a ticket.

๐Ÿงน The sweeper itself

The yellow chip rolling the map is the truck's live position, timed from real pass reports.

๐Ÿช™ Metered curbs

Washington-style meters. Never feed them? One tap in the app skips every metered block.

THE LUCKY LOOP
(now rigged in your favor)
YOU 1 2 3
Tuesday, 1:24 PM. Your lap, as the app sees it. Green curbs just opened; the dashed side is resident-only, so it's skipped.

How locals run it

Two weapons

โ˜€๏ธ Park now + the Loop

The daytime weapon. See what's turning over this minute, then let the Loop drive you through the best bets in the smartest order, handed straight to Google Maps.

๐ŸŒ™ Stay tonight + the Loop

The coming-home-from-work weapon. Curbs swept this afternoon hold the freshest spots all evening, and curbs swept tomorrow morning open up tonight, with a gone-by time so you're never the ticket.

Run tonight's loop โ†’

Hoboken Parking Sucks, the group chat

The app tells you where a curb is about to open. The Discord tells you when a human is about to hand you one. Shout #leaving-now as you pull out, drop a #sweeper-spotted when the truck rolls past you (it literally makes the app smarter), and take your pain to #memes. Misery loves company. Company finds parking.
